The Contemporary Music Consortium of Utah and the Park City Chamber Music Society will team up for a Winter Classics Concert January 9, 2011, at 3pm at the Dumke Auditorium in the David Gardner Hall (home of the University of Utah School of Music). The concert will feature a work for solo flute by Honegger, the Carmen Fantasy for Flute, Clarinet and Piano by Bizet (arr. by Webster), works by contemporary composer David Gunn for both Flute and Clarinet and for String Quartet, along with works for Clarinet and String Quartet by Glazunov, Schumann, Tchaikovsky and Taneyev. The performers for this concert will be flutist Laurel Ann Maurer, clarinetist Russell Harlow, violinists Monte Belknap and Alex Woods, violist Leslie Harlow, cellist Julie Bevan and pianist Bryan Stanley.
